Excellent Pay, Flexible Work Environment

Nothing I have come across

- as a contractor, they don't care about you while they are receiving payment for your services.

- From day one, my agreed hourly rate was altered. Having already declined another job offer, I found myself compelled to accept this position. - For 3-4 years, they evaded discussions regarding salary adjustment agreements, including hanging up phone calls and ignoring emails and calls. - They were dishonest about the Green Card process. I invested time and shared my information with the attorney, only to discover that they had been deceitful about the process—possibly never initiating it. I wasted time waiting for a process that was non-existent, with their excuse being that they couldn't (and shouldn't) adjust my salary even when the client increased my hourly rate. Eventually, the law firm stated, "You need to speak with your employer; we cannot respond to that question." Working as a contractor seems to be virtually the only way to start working in the U.S., but they were dishonest. When I realized they were not processing the Green Card I started looking for another job and quit. They called and nearly shouted that "I was going to continue being a slave, and they were the only option," before attempting to retract their statement. That was the sole conversation we had after numerous attempts to discuss my visa and salary over a period of two years.
