Pros

Decent Starting Salary....hourly but you always got 40hrs a week. Co-workers are all mostly friendly and helpful. Work isn't hard, and typically things run smoothly every day at work. Training is tedious but they will teach you nearly everything you need to know. Great benefits once you've worked their some time like bonus's on store sales and top notch employee stock option program.

Cons

Customers can really suck, but you should expect that in retail. In this program a lot of managers in stores won't like you because your getting "preferential treatment." They view you as a threat and don't think 4 years in college is comparable to having to work to be promoted (sometimes 4 years in the stores) If a manger has it out for you, change stores before it is too late... and SOME managers make the same schedule every week. Meaning never having a single weekend day off. Some creativity would have been nice to see revolving managers on weekends rather than the same two managers working the same weekend month to month. This however wasn't the case in all stores, so change before it's too late. Once your on a managers bad side start your job search, won't be long before they run you out of the company.

Pros

Fantastic health and customer service standards If you have a good management team, everything goes smoothly and even when it doesn't they help you handle it If you negotiate pay before being officially hired, they are willing to negotiate Opportunity for growth Affordable benefits that are actually good

Cons

A LOT is expected from you, and if you don't negotiate for higher pay before being hired, or at the time of promotion, it can feel like you're being underpaid for sure. Just because you are on the same level as someone else, doesn't necessarily mean you will receive the same pay rate
