Pros

Culture is strong, feel's like family everyday, supportive of work/life balance, leaders and co-workers will drop everything to help you in a personal or professional situation so its one less thing to worry about, benefits, salary, giving back to our community, supportive employment for those with limited ability, values carried from each President/CEO forward, careers, never thinking we are too good to improve, I HAVE NEVER HAD a bad leader in my 30 plus years to report into. I could go on but I want whoever reads this to understand-I really mean this and a lot of this is because I keep myself engaged, engage others, and that makes it easy to be engaged with our leaders.

Cons

Not a con but an opportunity: With all the growth and constant change, we must continue to find a way to improve communication. Its not bad, but I think the nature of our change and dynamics, we just need to realize that when we change...so should our communication avenues.

Wawa offers competitive wages and benefits within the industry, along with clear opportunities for internal advancement. The company places a strong emphasis on developing its people and is willing to teach the skills needed to be successful at the next level. There is a genuine culture of promoting from within, supported by structured training and leadership development. The work environment fosters a sense of community and teamwork, with many locations maintaining a family-like atmosphere where associates feel supported and valued.

Cons

The role can be fast-paced and demanding, particularly in leadership positions. Work-life balance may fluctuate based on business needs.

Pros

Fantastic health and customer service standards If you have a good management team, everything goes smoothly and even when it doesn't they help you handle it If you negotiate pay before being officially hired, they are willing to negotiate Opportunity for growth Affordable benefits that are actually good

Cons

A LOT is expected from you, and if you don't negotiate for higher pay before being hired, or at the time of promotion, it can feel like you're being underpaid for sure. Just because you are on the same level as someone else, doesn't necessarily mean you will receive the same pay rate
