Pros
Great opportunities for growth in the company, solid leadership by the VP and team manager, clear training, and most importantly, Waypoint's message regarding the proper way to collect debt and their mission to truly help consumers get back on track and in a pay status. The Vice President is close and available - he makes our role both informative and fun. Currently there are two team managers and the one I work for is very down-to-earth and approachable. Many opportunities for monetary bonuses as well! The people are great to work with and genuine, the building is beautiful, the break room is comfortable, clean and inviting. Free popcorn (air-popped), free coffee (with all the condiments), free hot chocolate, and they even have a separate 7-Eleven-type area near the big break room that offers all kinds of snacks and drinks for purchase. The company is big on hiring and supporting Veterans - they don't just say they like hiring Veterans, they actually do it! Plenty of parking, both open and covered. The building is walking distance to restaurants and stores. The overall environment is inviting. This is the first civilian company I have worked for since I retired from the military that makes me truly feel like I am part of the team. Great place to work.
Cons
This will sound silly, BUT.. the only con for me is when the weather is cold, the heat in the building is stifling. I wish they would turn the heat down so that it's just a little cool. When you're at work you can put on a sweater or dress warmer, if necessary, but you cannot dress way down... and plug-in fans are not allowed at the individual desks.
