An aging, once wild, company. - Anonymous employee WeDo technologies Employee Review

Pros

Good people Most of the people are nice people, but incompetency mines the overall environment. Friendly people but beware about talking too loud your thoughts Work hours Like a modern company should do... Life is not all about work, friends or family time matters. And Wedo does understand this perfectly.

Cons

Teams Most teams trying to defend their own slice of the cake, creating software like reinventing the wheel, not using standard opensource or commercial solutions just to keep part of the pie on their hand too. No one really knows what Agile development is all about, beside the fact that everyone stands on their feet on meetings. Working Conditions. The build working conditions are ok, but's sad that on XXI century not every employee has the right to have decent hardware to work with. Managers and Architects May be the biggest weakness of this company... Most of them stopped evolving 10 years ago, they don't have a clue about new trends and technologies, they manage people and resources in a clerical manner, like they were god representatives on earth.

Pros

Company culture is warm and welcoming. My team is really like my family. Lots of opportunities for growth and expanding on knowledge; the office is a very casual, laid-back space where no question is too simple. But, it's also a small office where EVERYONE must work hard and wear multiple hats. It's for type-A people, definitely not those who 'hide' in their cubes all day.

Cons

Some growing pains in modernizing our software/technology so it stays competitive to our clients. Sometimes the pressure of a client with a million dollar contract threatening not to renew is a little scary. There is also, sadly, a growing divide between the delivery/prod teams and the SOFT development teams.
