Cons

Estimates from employees are just eye wash. Already time is committed to the client and as a formality estimate is taken from employees. If not completed then the management blames the team members by saying "you have provided the timeline". Management reduce the time by saying this feature is done is another project and can be copied from it. Sometimes estimate is provided by some other team member and the person who end up assigned to the project should follow that estimate. Those who inform whereabouts about others to the management and acts like they are working/managing others can expect designation raise compared to those who work hard. Certain QA employees doesnt even understand the product which they are assigned to and act as though the product is launched because of them. HR is dedicated to other things other than the job. Even the basics like payslips, appointment letter etc are not sent on time. HR always act busy and mostly spends time with QA. This dedication resulted in taking up QA role along with HR role so that even more time can be spent with QA. Founder tries motivating by telling changes are coming to the company but those changes will either not be implemented or die in short time. Either founder is turning a blind eye to what is happening or given wrong information. If there is fault with device provided by the company then the replacement will take days and till replacement work should not be affected. Appraisal will take months and those who are favored by the management will get high raise and others are humiliated. Many times internet gets disconnected and the employees are expected to use mobile hotspot to meet the tight deadlines. Wherever there is a conversation going on CTO jumps in and give unrelated views which makes the entire conversation waste of time. Many good and knowledged employees leave the company due to such politics behaviour by upper management. Those who quit the company have to constantly remind HR about the settlement. It takes many months for the settlement. Either the company doesn't have required funds or else they are wantedly treating ex employees in this manner.

My relationship with company is not long but would like to give my opinion from practical view I accept i get guidance from team mates and they are my friends but if there is doubt within team there is no one above to clarify it. If we have any doubt with requirement we ask product manager they answer only few times clearly but sometimes they also not sure and mostly say they will ask client It would be nice to get technical help from cto for our doubts and problems and currently we only get clarification on requirements or what the client say. In my old company cto or director used to tell us about new coding methods and implemented it and thought us new technologies. I want to learn. For testing products it is essential to fully understand the requirements but if requirements itself is not clear or they say one thing and then change it again then it is difficult team members. I think some technical knowledge is necessary for managing sprint timing and bugs and issues. It can help the team and development. Work load and difficult also but for me it is learning and i come know there is lot more to learn and develop myself.

For no reason the company will fire you, it doesn't matter you perform or not, if some one else in the team didn't performer well you can also be fired. No job security in the company HR will watch YouTube always says am buys, he has no time to spend with any employees apart from testing team. CTO is a no brainier, his jacket will stand -15 cold, if you join the company you have to invest in jackets. Will always accuse you for someone else mistake . My honest feed back after a open conversation with the CEO is "he can take instant destitution doesn't matter who gets affected" You can survive in the company you can do any of the below. beg to management Take yogs session even you don't know anything take a technical session When you join company they will promises lot of things like variable pay, food, snack, medical insurance etc But you will never get it, just for the sake of giving snacks will be provided once a while. Company can cut cake for employees birthday only twice a month because they don't have much fund to run the company management is blood sucking leaches draining all the blood form the employees Cut costing for small things clearly shows company is failing so do the management . Sooner are later every one will be sent home without warning .
