Web Summit offers one of lowest salaries in the industry. If you equate it with the number of hours you work, it barely reaches minimum wage (Ireland). Its clearly written in the contract that there is no additional allowance for working offhours or additional hours. They still manage to get good employees by promising them great industry contacts through their events which is partial true. Its like the biggest perk of joining Web Summit, is attending their events. And they seldom pay commission for sales related jobs. May be that the reason employee retention rate is quite low. I remember around 75% of people who joined same time as me, have left the company within a year.
