Pros

Opportunities to move up in position in company Commission from the selling of products, or exceeding performance expectations Remote work from home

Cons

Unreasonable performance metrics, highly critical of the smallest details of what is said on the phone. The training was very inadequate and brief for less than a month. Most of that time was wasted dealing with their broken IT systems and gaining access to different programs. For such a highly critical environment would expect to be more properly prepared to really have a good understanding of procedures and policies. Overall high pressure to open accounts, and sell credit cards that customers do not even need to make your manager stand out on paper. Constantly bothered about taking just a minute between calls, they want you to take them back to back, not understanding why some calls take longer than others.

Pros

None, a very hostile environment and I wish I had retired when I had the chance to.

Cons

So many! The middle office is a mess and staff are treated like children and spoken down to and looked down upon by many. We didn’t even get holiday greetings or a thank you from management. Just a tone deaf video from management showing themselves off on their yachts or in their fancy villa’s overseas. A complete overhaul of commercial services is needed, it’s just a toxic and disgusting environment, reminds me of my school days with abusive teachers back in the 1970s.
