Pros

Meeting some lovely people (members)

Cons

Wages - still no idea how my pay is worked out at best it is minimum wage with a top-up. I work 3-5 meetings a week and have still don't pay tax You are a counsellor and paid less than kids who flip burgers Volume of products to store, take to meetings - no compensation storage Hours you claim are queried if they feel you are claiming to much Source your own meeting helpers Expected to cover events in your own time for free....let it be known to you if you 'let the side down' by declining Expected to have Meeting Facebook pages and interact 7 days a week Expected to use personal Facebook page to promote local meetings Expected to put up all own marketing materials, post flyers etc Sort own holiday or sickness cover - no one wants to cover but expects you to cover theirs! Promote overpriced products to anyone who is struggling - portion control? Buy a set of scales at £40..... Someone said it's like a cult - it is! Lot of bitchy long term Leaders who offer no support or encouragement to new Leaders. I've lost count of how many new people have left because the person supposed to be supporting them never answered the phone, returned their messages or replied to emails. They play on the 'think about your members' anytime you need time off, need to leave leading a meeting.... Everything done on spreadsheets - from meeting administration to weekly timesheet

Pros

I worked here in the 'hey day' of WW, actually from 2003-2014, but it didn't scroll back far enough for me to choose the accurate year/date! I enjoyed it and met a lot of friends and it was fun to work with the people; I helped a lot of people. It was pretty amazing and rewarding...seeing the same people every week, but only once a week (customers) and I only saw some of my co-workers once a wee too, which is great b/c sometimes that leaves enough time to miss them! haha!

Cons

It was a very underpaid job and we were running around town doing 'at works" and traveler locations...(churches, etc.) ...working at our old, big "WW Center" was really nice, during the height of Points, etc..but it was not a job where you'll save any money or get enough work. Undependable...District mgr could change your life at the drop of her hat.
