Pros
It is not impossible to move up within the company as long as the oil and gas market is up and the opportunity arises. If you are eager to learn and are a good worker, your immediate supervisor will notice.
Cons
The job can be labor intensive and very repetitive, Some facility conditions are very poor. Co workers are fun to be around but can also be unprofessional. You work long hours when it is busy which is bitter sweet. As an hourly employee you will make more money but it can take up a lot of your time.
