Pros
I got to work with a lot of with interesting residents who found my involvement meaningful to improve their depression and a positive experience for me as well. The hours where flexible.
Cons
There was very poor communication with management from one of the assisted living facilities who continupously ignored managment's efforts to communicate. I was unable to complete the n eeded services with the congitive training since there was a lot of turnover with psychologists leaving delays with their initial testing and follow up. The residents obviously wanted to know the status of their memory level and dropped out since I could not provide that infiormation and chose to drop out. The other facility where It was communicated that they where happy with my work was eliminated due to the number of residents. ( Well what can I say.)
