Offices are cramped. Departments split across different floors. Products are often built and left on a shelf. No trust in its employees, and a lot of micro management. No career progressions or budget for training. Little to no recognition of work or for going above and beyond. Low salary. Very often use the ‘bonus’ as a form of dangling the carrot. More bothered about graphs / time logging and looking busy than slowing down and doing things right, rather than fast to meet deadlines set by sales teams who have no idea what they have sold, doesn’t even exist, but promised to be delivered yesterday.
