Pros
The people are the best. They really care about doing a good job and are willing to help each other when needed.
Cons
Senior management has lost touch with the culture of the firm through repeated re-orgs over the last few years. Pay is way down as well due in part to enormous pay guarantees given to new employees with private equity experience. This push into private equity is creating a lot of resentment among legacy employees given bonuses are going down despite markets being up. They are also laying off employees through numerous waves, which is killing morale.
