Mediocre Mega Carrier That Does Not Care About Their Drivers - Class A Truck Driver Werner Enterprises Employee Review

Pros

Newer trucks and trailers. Trailers are mostly in good condition unlike companies like Swift. Most drivers are great people and are always helpful. Some accounts have decent home time and decent pay. But that's regional.

Cons

They do not care about their drivers. Many reviews on here mention that and this is true. When you're out there, they won't even check on you, like "how are the things going?" - no, none of it. If OTR, pay is CPM only. No bonuses of any kind. Must be careful with the TMs. Not all of them are responsible. If you're not running make sure you get paid layover on time. My TM OTR had poor phone etiqutte and hung up on me while I was mid sentence. That happened MULTIPLE times. They expect good communication from you, but their communication is poor. A lot about this company screams they are penny pinchers and do everything for as cheap as they can. I don not believe the company lives by its values.

We’re sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate you sharing such detailed feedback. We understand how frustrating it can be to feel unsupported, especially when communication and consistency don’t meet expectations, and your concerns about team interactions, pay structure, and overall driver support are taken seriously. Feedback like yours is important as we continue working to improve communication, strengthen leadership accountability, and better support our drivers on the road.
