Pros

Free 1st class Accomodation but only if you get 15 door stop signups per week .

Cons

Got to get 15 sign ups per week, by that it means getting peoples direct debit details and them to sign for monthly subscriptions . By cold calling and very persuasive means ! Very little goes to the charity as bulk of money pays for company car to get around and plush accomodation to stay in then the minimum wages if you get to earn any as you need to pay out for fuel for car and food monies to feed yourself in the first week , as you hit milestones after that you get tesco food vouchers , one day I got 5signups and was told Iwas top of the new recruits league table !! , if you dont get about 3 or more per day you will have to leave ! I was short of about 5 sign ups by Friday and so had to work saturday and Sunday to achieve the 15 ! Hours are long setting off about midday to work til about 9pm ! The following week started badly as was very tired and only achieved to get 7 by midweek , was told to up my game and get them by hook or by crook as could not work the following weekend as we could have this off as free time ! Dont think they wanted us to work 14 days solid ! Only got 10 signups by Friday but told have the weekend to recharge and go again better next week . Friday night meeting called , Any body that didnt get 15 would leave in the morning so packed and left =worked for 12 days saw no money , was told it would be sent in to my account at the end of month . New teams recruited every week by the sounds of it ! Came away out of pocket !

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you feel you have had a poor experience fundraising with us and would welcome the opportunity to discuss the issues covered in more detail. The campaign support team are available on: 01462 704 860. As you will be aware, we support an outbound fundraising team in excess of 600 personnel per year and have very few complaints. It is therefore of the utmost importance that we are able to speak with any individual that believes their experience was not up to the standard they expected. In response to the points made in this review: We do not charge charity partners any fee up front for the work undertaken to raise funds for them. We simply receive a small percentage based on the quantity and quality of donations collected by fundraisers. As a result our fundraisers are provided with an hourly rate funded by ourselves with the addition of a bonus structure that incentivises ethical fundraising (OTE £1500 Per Month) Typically our fundraisers work 5 days per week (12:00 - 20:00). Fundraisers can opt to work additional hours in order to attain higher levels of donations; however, this is closely monitored to ensure team members take time to relax from this mentally and physically challenging role. On average our fundraisers achieve 15 - 20 donors signed up per week. As always we strive for more for the benefit of our charity partners however no fundraiser would be asked to leave if they continuously achieved 15 new donors per week. As a business regulated by the Fundraising Standards Board we guarantee that all fundraisers will be treated fairly and paid correctly. All fundraisers are paid monthly as is fairly common for most businesses. All bonuses and hourly earnings will be paid if a fundraiser choses to part company with us (It is therefore impossible to be "out of pocket"). With the above points considered we have reported this review to the Glassdoor moderation team for removal as it misrepresents the pay, ethics and working conditions of our fundraisers.

Pros

Nothing positive to say however this may change

Cons

I worked for the company as a student and was placed in company-arranged accommodation in Slough. The arrangement was described as free accommodation with earnings, but I experienced unexpected costs and a lack of clarity around pay. During my time there, I felt the working environment was highly stressful and unsupportive. After a short period without successful sign-ups, I was dismissed and asked to leave the accommodation with very short notice. Overall, my experience did not match what was initially communicated to me, and I would advise others to seek full clarity on terms before joining.
