Pros

If you need a job, then I guess they will do.

Cons

Upper management does not appreciate or reward salary employees. They manage based on scare tactics and fear of losing job. No direction is given. Pay is low for hourly so management must deal with high turnaround and low morale. Communication is lacking from upper management to lower management. Salary employees are over-worked. There is an air of favoritism as well. Makes it hard for hourly and salary to want to stay an employee of the company. Upper management will walk right past you without saying a word to you.

Pros

Great company and management staff, was treated fairly in regards to pay and benefits. Fun, nice atomosphere to be around most of the time

Cons

I love my job in housekeeping, and my supervisors, but the co workers are tough to be around. They are very disrespectful, rude to guests and other co workers.

Pros

Good coworkers. There's a union so you don't feel completely alone when it comes to work issues. And the hourly pay isnt terrible for a bartender.

Cons

Management does not care about their staff at all. They pretend to care and will feign compassion, but really they jusy want you to drop it and forget it. Management will harp on you about the most ridiculous things like your nail size or if you're wearing an apron. Meanwhile they've chased off most of their staff and refuse to actually take responsibility. The turn around on staff is ridiculous. The lack of business will mean you will probably need a second job. However the Casino acts like they own you and will refuse to work with you when it comes to a flexible schedule. They will schedule you for shifts you cant work if you don't choose to work full time. They will force full time on you and if you cant work those shifts, they will still count against you. The lack of product at times would get extremely frustrating. The lack of support staff would make bartending much harder than it should. You will have to leave your bar constantly to go do things a support staff should be doing and when you bring it up, they will blame the union. Which is their MO on ANY complaint. Avoid this place unless you REALLY need a job or just something temporary.
