Pros

Great introduction to corporate culture. Humble and Respectable CEO! Decent employee benefits!

Cons

Incoherent policies only designed to cater to “Senior Leadership “ and not holding higher levels accountable for lackluster knowledge or performance. Allows “entry level” associates to constitute a mid or senior personnel without the COMPENSATION! Continuous acquisition buying without proper planning and resulting in MASSIVE LOSS of workforce. Permits “SPECIFIC” roles to remote work while others are REQUIRED to be present at the Norcross headquarters on a weekly basis, completing the same duties that can be accomplished remotely!! Promotes “Work Your Way Guide” but is not applied within the Norcross office and allows “bully executives” to control the facilities of the office such as, booking offices. PLEASE remember that if you are employed in the Human Resources department; ensure to consult with your leader before resigning as you will face retaliation in the form of PREMATURE DISMISSAL! This organization is riddled with favoritism and nepotism to the HIGHEST DEGREE!!

Pros

Thought it would be an improvement over Home Depot. I was wrong.

Cons

I am sharing my experience to highlight a clear pattern of severe mismanagement and subsequent retaliation by Home Depot (and later HD Supply). As the first lead driver for their Home Depot Supply operation in Columbus, Ohio, I was forced to navigate a poorly planned system with no local warehouse. I regularly waited up to four hours at a third-party site for product to arrive, yet Streetsboro management immediately scapegoated me when I couldn't finish an 8-hour route in the remaining 4 hours. Because I spoke up about this blatant mismanagement, leadership became deeply hostile and unsupportive. I eventually resigned after three years to stop being their fall guy. Years later, I gave the company another chance under the HD Supply name, hoping things had changed. They hadn't. The operation was a compliance nightmare—no training, no log books, no ELDs; just pressure to hit the highway and 'hope for the best.' I finally walked away for good after a coworker openly made bigoted remarks in the workplace. The ultimate proof of their retaliation came recently: when I reapplied, I was informed that the company had maliciously coded my voluntary resignation as a 'termination' to ensure I was blacklisted. This is a vindictive company that punishes employees who expose their failures.
