Pros
Overall a unique place to work and more fun than other jobs as long as you are willing to work hard. Having an interest in sports or igaming is essential. Would recommend to others but definitely suits a certain kind of person as explained below
Lots of opportunity to reach job titles you probably wouldn’t reach at larger companies
Company socials were very good
Free breakfast and lunch although would have rather foregone that to work more from home
CEO is generous with bonuses for those willing to work hard
People are great. They’re what make the company so enjoyable to work for
Opportunities for travel/networking
Opportunities to develop skills/start courses.
Cons
CEO is intense/mental, I didn’t mind him but saw a few people (who had to work close to him) not able to cope and leave early in probation period
HR was a bit of a mess, high employee turnover there.
More stressful than your average job
Found myself often checking work phone when on days off/AL. Not great for work life balance
5 days in the office is a lot and should be adjusted to fit modern work environment. Claim to want to get the best people in but offering a non-competitive work balance contradicts this
There were a few hires that were questionable leading to under qualified people in higher up positions which can cause friction when having to work with them. Not sure if this is still the same now
