Pros

you can work from home

Cons

Intense working quotas that only robots could achieve They blame the employees for the lack of interest in their overpriced schools They create fake blog sites to traffic information from clicks and then call that information "Prospective Students" and force you to call them 6 times total plus texts and emails. They lie and say it isnt a call center and then they have to perform 160-200 cold calls a day - and the people youre calling, dodge you like the plague They send threatening emails and love to have "tough talks" The micromanaging is REAL - my supervisor had never managed a day in their life before being in charge of people and it showed. Time is watched - you must announce if you're going to the bathroom, getting water, walking your dog and if your gaps are too long, they start writing you up for "slippery behavior" and they have fired people for this very reason and then sent a team-wide email talking about how they fired those people and to be more mindful #fearmongering They hate giving OT - but demand people work saturdays and late friday nights so you work 6 days a week and only get 40 hours. OT is made out to be this special thing that you wont get if you dont work EXTRA hard, and they make sure youre aware that your OT hours worked needs to be "worth it" for them to approve it and pay it. retaliate against the people they decide not to like - and run audits with your name to try to find things to nitpick while also telling you to work harder and faster

Pros

Good health and retirement benefits. Frequent fun events.

Cons

Low pay. Minimal opportunity for advancement. Workload often felt too heavy/stressful--unrealistic goals, overemphasis on metrics. Management recording and listening to calls, micromanaging your statements/responses to students.
