Pros
-You will meet people here that you will be friends with for a lifetime. The golden hearts of those that you get to work closely with, make coming to work worth it -Average Pay -Health Benefits & 401K contributions -The corporate view of the city from Two Union Square That’s about it for pros.
Cons
Ever since the leadership of Tara & Arun left, things have gone downhill, and staff has taken all the hits especially with the pandemic: -Mandatory 3 days a week in the office, even at the peak of COVID. Attorneys are not required to be in the office at all -No PTO payouts for staff, that was time you accrued, it should be yours-just another way the firm is pinching pennies. -No subsidized buss pass -No annual merit bonus -No annual raise -Micro-Management -Attorneys are royalty/always right -Lawn chairs for our staff appreciation gift (that was creative on their end for free marketing, but really? I would love to see WKG give their staff something useful one year-Seattle gets a month of sunshine for the year. -This is a predominantly white firm, in this day and age, would love to see more diversity within management and the board of directors (accounting is the most diverse group in the firm) -No work/life balance.
