Pros

-The team is fun, funny, professional, kind, and competent -The work is meaningful - our clients keep the world running and it is meaningful to be able to partner with them -Great workplace culture, and there is significant intention placed around maintaining this great culture -Great benefits, especially for a small business -Fully remote work -Flexible schedules

Cons

It is a small agency, so you end up wearing a lot of hats. I personally enjoy that about working here as it allows for more creative problem solving sometimes, but it might be considered a con to someone who prefers more structure and order. But ultimately no cons about working here!

Pros

- Overall benefits are solid - Fully remote - Competitive pay

Cons

- Cliquey environment. Leadership is essentially a friend group, making company decisions based on "vibes" instead of hard data. - Micromanagement is a huge problem for the Project Management team, which is just two people, and is siloed between retainer clients and new web projects. Their inability to communicate with each other will become your problem. - Zero racial diversity. Good luck being taken seriously if you are not a wealthy white person. - Poor communication due to inexperienced and incompetent department leaders/project managers. More concerned with maintaining friendships than doing good work. - CEO/Owner is a control freak with an outdated understanding of the current digital marketing landscape. Frequently requires hand-holding to fully grasp material. - Poor training and onboarding experience for new hires. You will be expected to come in ready to extinguish the flames of a fire you did not create. - Zero coherent company structure, and no HR department, which means no recourse if you are in an awkward position with a coworker. - Was misled during the recruitment process regarding the autonomy of the role. - Zero career advancement opportunities. The biggest possible success you could have at this company is making the CEO a little bit richer.
