Pros

Get paid to converse (chit chat) with people

Cons

Treachery and mismanagement by the company. Management which lies, cheats, and steals from you, and tells you it's your fault. -Example: 11/2015 company could not pay a $1,500 internet bill so we were told to brace for handwritten work completion since service was under disconnect notice. -Suddenly co-workers were receiving the news that their job was over and not to come back (oftimes it'd be a student who would let the employee know). -Others began getting written up for shortcomings that did not exist. -You watch it happen one by one; and then it happens to you. -But hey, the internet never did get disconnected. The company later admits that it fired the people because it could not afford to keep them.

Pros

The community between the workers is great. Not a difficult job at all. A relaxed work environment.

Cons

Weird hours but you'll get used to them. Pay should be higher but they are also working on it.

Pros

They start you above minimum wage. I made a couple of friends because everyone felt screwed over together. You actually feel like you're helping people learn. You're off all American and Korean holidays (which you don't get paid for)

Cons

Here is the deal with this company. They start you out at $9 an hour, but they say it is $11 an hour "because of incentives". You are required to be there from 6:50AM-10:50AM and then leave, then come back from 4:20PM-8:20pm because everything is run on Korean time. If you happen to get caught in traffic one of the several times you come to work a day, and are a minute late or sick, they dock your "incentives" by $2 an hour for the entire pay period. There are no raises, no benefits, no paid vacations, and no paid holidays. The boss is often barely there by the last minute, making you nearly or actually late to start your shift, because she isn't there to open the door. They take absolutely no advice although they ask you for it, and are quick to fire you if you complain about things that could make this company great. The paychecks aren't there on time always, and when they are people are scared because they've bounced multiple times. This place is a bus stop job. It's decent for a couple weeks until you find something better, but the average turnaround is like one person quitting a week.
