Pros
It paid above minimum wage, and the other teachers who work there are nice.
Cons
Paychecks were consistently late by 2-4 days Wages were cut severely over the course of the 15 months I worked there, for everyone. Management is all overseas, and doesn't respond to problems. Promised direct deposit over a year ago, still not available when I left. No benefits. Severe penalties for being sick or showing up late ($100-300 losses reflected in your paycheck for missing one 4-hour shift, for any reason. Don't get sick.) All holidays are non-paid off time, and are typically not on the actual American holiday but a "half day" split tailored for the South Korean schedule. (Basically, it's impossible to travel on weekends or holidays.) No job security. Management reminds teachers that they can be dismissed at any time, for any reason. Inconsistent job contracts. In less than two years, I had to sign three contracts and initial several additional addendums which changed the agreements between me and this employer. If I had not, I would have been fired.
