Pros

Same as any other fintech.

Cons

The culture does not match the brand. Performance ratings felt disconnected from actual contribution, with no transparent link between the work you deliver and how you are assessed or rewarded. Recognition depended heavily on being visible to the right people rather than on the quality of the work itself, and progression paths for specialists were unclear. The culture and HR experience were the weakest part. Decisions and approvals could reverse with little notice and little documentation, and processes were applied inconsistently depending on the situation. HR provides zoer support to employees, and policies could appear or shift without being clearly communicated. Over a short period the company lost a striking number of senior people across all functions, which says a great deal about the level of trust inside the building.

Pros

Nothing at all, cannot see anything good.

Cons

I joined Wio Bank with high expectations given the buzz around it, but left deeply disappointed by the internal culture. The core issue is leadership — or the lack of it. Senior management operates in a top-down, command-and-control style that leaves little room for collaboration, feedback, or psychological safety. Employees are expected to execute orders without question. Ideas from the ground up are discouraged, which is counterproductive for a company that positions itself as innovative. What made it worse was witnessing unprofessional behavior from the very top. Raising one’s voice at employees in shared spaces is not leadership — it’s intimidation, and it sets the tone for the entire organization. The people working there are not the problem. Many are talented individuals genuinely trying to build something meaningful. The problem is that they are given no real direction, no empowerment, and no safe space to contribute. For a company trying to disrupt banking, it ironically runs like a rigid, outdated institution from the inside. All of this clearly visible due to a large number of strong professionals leaving the company, some without even having another option in the market.
