Pros
Doing good work Working with kiddos is rewarding and fun. Great way to gain experience to apply for a special education school job.
Cons
Families cancel shifts all the time, leaving you without pay. Bonuses that used to be available to techs who put in the hours are no longer offered. Promotions are awarded very sparingly and late. HR is terrible. I contacted them and they called me by the wrong name and they didn't spend the time to even read my message as they asked me to do things I already addressed in the email and didn't answer the one question I did have. Policy is to not allow anyone to use any PTO after you give their notice of leaving and then they won't pay out any balance that you have in your bank or earn during your notice time.
