Poor management and lack of trust. - Field Service Technician WiseConn Employee Review

This company has had many employees come and go in a very short amount of time, and part of it is due to the managements failure to actually sit down with employees personally when issues arise and make the effort to listen to the employee. For instance, one employee was having repeated issues, and while the management did in fact bring this up, they made no effort to ask the employee what was going on, but instead automatically got the employee into trouble first due to only listening to either senior managements or the customers words about what happened at a job site. It wouldn't be until after the fact that the employee in question would be advised to bring up any issues to management on their end. This did not help the employee improve, but only created a very untrusting work environment. The employee would be reprimanded for asking questions for clarification on certain issues; in this instance, expectations were communicated verbally when the employee began working there and were expected to be remembered. Once those expectations were put on paper, the employee wanted clarification of things regarding those written expectations in an effort to better adhere to those expectations. Also, when working on a certain jobsite with someone who had the full picture of what needed to be done, an issue arose that prevented the job from being completed right away, and the person who was supposed to know what to do did not know how to proceed. The employee then called management for clarification on how to proceed, which was met with management asking (in a very annoyed and hostile manner) why the employee did not inquire with the person they were working with, as they were supposed to have that knowledge. The employee was not able to answer back.
