Pros
Pay was okay but it wasn't worth the mental anguish of being overworked due to your colleagues being made redundant every 2nd week
Cons
Management of DevOps itself was great. It became apparent how much the manager was holding things down to allow us to continue our work when he left. We weren't able to complete anything fully. Due to the conflicting priorities arbitrarily made by senior management. Nothing is handled correctly and everything is always broken because there is no time to fix existing services or processes. Micromanagement is above and beyond now, 0 autonomy on things and how they should be handled. And the CEO doesn't value the software product at all. Almost like its a problem child he is stuck with that he isn't allowed to get rid of. Sales can never hit their targets so every quarter more redundancies. But it's NEVER the Sales staff who can't sell a product not getting the right value to customers it's the developers who are trying to get the right value in but are being told to work on something entirely different because that's "the company's vision" which also changes 3 times a week.
