Smaller hospital, so not as active as other hospitals. Benefits and shift differential pay for part-time employees Training on cleaning procedures and protocols for OR's, patient rooms, and other areas

*For housekeeping, we have been consistently understaffed. *List of "have to" cleaning areas, but can get calls/pages for anything else at any time. *Workload is too much at times. I have even worked parts of a shift or an entire shift by myself, which is idiocy. *Management is checked out, allows gossip and negativity to persist *Administration not allocate additional staff to our department *Ungrateful attitude from, Kitchen, Doctors, and Nurses -- many sitting idly on their phones at times *At this time, Housekeeping is liable to clean the kitchen, which is ridiculous and probably unsanitary. *Many are riding the train to retirement and are short-sighted -- been there 10+ years. (This isn't the norm in today's workforce. I believe many are in positions for money only and to do minimum amount of work possible.) ^^These create a revolving door for Housekeeping staff
