Pros

The interview process was pretty hands-on. From take-home tasks to chatting through case studies and real scenarios, it was helpful to understand what the role was all about and carefully understand if I was a good fit. Additionally, with the world being so remote these days... this was the only role that had an in-person interview (despite the hybrid work style). This was a great opportunity to meet the hiring manager in-office, wave hello to other employees, and see where I would be working + get to see the products I would get to work with.

Cons

The process took close to 1.5 months and did not always get proactive updates making me feel a bit in the dark. However, when I reached out for an update, the team would respond within a few days. There is not a ton of information about this interview process online so hopefully, more people review it.

Pros

Strong benefits, hybrid work schedule, innovative products, bright enthusiastic and energetic team, great office environment, able to communicate and collaborate with French colleagues in Paris HQ.

Cons

Fast-paced work environment were everyone needs to pull their weight - which might not be for the perfect fit for some.

Pros

Interesting and cool products, nice co-workers in US

Cons

There is an unusually high amount of people being put on performance plans and/or fired, not to mention the high turnover with people leaving. Management is a mess and I did not have any clear goals or growth during my time here. There is a disconnect between the French office and the U.S. office, particularly in marketing. My manager in the US could not guide me or give me solid direction and the French team bullied me day in and day out which greatly affected my mental health. It was brought up in my performance review that I do not attend enough happy hours and it "reflects poorly on my manager" when in reality I attended all extracurricular activities with a personal rule of leaving after 1 drink. Since not working at Withings my mental health has been so much better and it's a relief to not be in a toxic workplace environment with no goals or growth.
