Pros

Very good product that has allowed the company to grow fast in a short period of time.

Cons

The growth rate is visibly slowing down due to the economic situation and the competitors are adapting to Wiz’s challenge. If you are a current employee that is not in Israel, then it is obvious to you there has been a “5 star review harvesting” project put on by the Tel Aviv office and marketing team to bury the more negative and honest Glassdoor reviews. Even if you have been a top performer here, they will cut you if you have one underperforming quarter, or even what management perceives to be one bad month for that matter. The non-Israel employees are treated as expendable. Top talent is laid off without rhyme or reason. The result is the company has a toxic culture where everyone is on pins and needles to not say or do what will be perceived as the “wrong” thing by management. The best advice for any job seekers and people accepting an offer from Wiz is to keep looking for jobs on the side and treat it as a rest stop on the way to a better company. Do not get enticed by the equity and the hype that you will be around for some spectacular IPO.

Pros

Sharp people, great manager and team, collaborative culture, creative marketing approach, encourages bold thinking

Cons

Some silos are starting to develop as the company scales, and process can be lacking at times, both pretty common at this stage of growth, but worth knowing going in.

Pros

Strong onboarding with lots of well-produced training and enablement available on demand. Corporate culture driven by colleagues who seem genuinely enthusiastic about being here, a product that is genuinely differentiated, and a market opportunity that is genuinely exciting. All in all, a breath of fresh air.

Cons

Hiring/People growth is slightly outpacing Process growth, but nothing that makes life too difficult. Lots of unknowns about life as a Google company.
