Pros

Smart and Talented Team: Over the past two years, the company has brought in some incredibly smart folks who truly understand the challenges and dynamics of startup work life. This has significantly improved the quality of work, speed, and collaboration. Commitment to Improvement: Despite the tough decisions and layoffs that many companies (especially in HRTech) are experiencing right now, there is a clear focus on improvement, sustainabiity, and steering the company in the right direction. Flexibility and Innovation: The company encourages innovation and flexibility in work, which can be very rewarding for those who are creative and proactive.

Cons

Cultural Challenges: They are slowly figuring out the best ways to create a culture that is as transparent and warm as they aspire to. There's room for improvement in fostering a more open environment. Communication Gaps: Communication from leadership could be more transparent at times, especially during periods of strategic change. Past Layoffs: The layoffs over the past two years have been tough on everyone and created some uncertainty. But it seems as though the company is stabilizing and moving in a positive direction.

Pros

- remote work - great benefits - flexible schedule

Cons

- not a single pathway in sight for any type of promotion. Maybe 3 out of 100 get a promotion, while everyone else is left with false promises. - the leadership team has completely lost control along with any sense of empathy they once had. They hired a new VP of Sales (who wasn't even poached from a solid company) meaning this person was VERY AVAILABLE, to build out the new sales org. Let's just say none of this turned out as planned, not even for a hot second. It was a total and complete train wreck from start to finish, which is why they had to lay this person off along with half of the sales team. - way too many zoom meetings with little to no importance - they tout and parade the "best company culture", but truthfully, that died after they raised series B. Once the big lump some of money came in, the ship fell off course. They hired the wrong leadership team, and let some of the brightest people go who could have been promoted, and, earned it, but instead, they hired what they thought was the perfect fit from other industries. - they don't know how to manage the money they raised, nor launch a successful GTM plan.
