Pros
A good stepping stone for those entering the IT field. Here, you can learn:
1. How to communicate and present to clients (whether private or government agencies)
2. How to create documentation such as user manuals
3. Manual QA testing
4. How to study and understand how a system works or is used within an organization
Cons
* You shouldn’t stay here for more than 2 years because you’ll usually be assigned 3 or more projects.
* No proper training is provided.
* Projects keep increasing, but the salary does not—only promises are given.
* Salary release is delayed, often more than a week past the cutoff date. Management expects employees to be understanding because the company has no collections—basically, no collections means no salary.
* Contributions and loan deductions are delayed or not properly remitted.
* You’re required to attend internal meetings even if you’re handling client work or it’s already break time.
* If you finish your tasks early, Theres an officer may question why you’re idle—even though that same person appears to have nothing to do and seems to look for employees to bother.
* No HMO. They claim that since you earn overtime, you can afford to buy medicine yourself.
* The HR officer, Ms. Inactive Tan, ignores messages regarding salary release status and contribution remittances. You have to approach her at her desk just to get answers. However, when it comes to incident reports, she acts quickly.
