Don't Expect to Get Paid correctly or on time EVER. - Telemarketer, APPT SETTER Wolf River Electric Employee Review

Pros

None. They can’t find your commission forms so don’t expect to get paid more than $200-$300 per week after working 40 SPORADIC hours between the 30 mandatory contract calling hours and all the random shadows required that sometimes no show. Full time hours for them to say we don’t have a record of that commission form from your assigned sales rep.

Cons

You can make $800-$1000 working full time... somewhere else because WOLF RIVER ELECTRIC does NOT pay their staff on time or the correct amounts. -The “pay date” has changed 4 times. -The sales reps have on many occasions not submitted their forms or filled it out incorrectly and therefore no pay. -they are supposed to pay same week appts that weekend but they have some missed ones from two weeks ago. -THEY TAKE 4 days to respond to commission inquiries because they are so backed up. -They lied about the bonus structure. -you never know what appts showed up unless you hunt down the sales reps, -THEY DON’T CARE that you have bills to pay. -I HAVE NOT HAD 1 single correct pay period with these clowns. Leave the frat party and find a professional solar company. This place is HEAVILY unorganized and it’s demoralizing to expect a $700, $1100, $1400 pay week but only ever seen $200-$300 because they are so behind and can’t find the confirmation forms and you have to hope they find a record or you are out of luck. They’ll say you only get paid if you sat in on the appt. But when you sit in that appt for an HOUR watching the sales presentation to get paid $20-$80 only to tell you WE HAVE NO PROOF BECAUSE YOUR SALES GUY DIDNT TURN IN THE FORM SAYING HE DID the presentation with you in attendance well… get ready to battle for your pay. (This has nothing to do with the sales commissions which are paid out after installation. This review is strictly about the same week pay that’s non existent.)

Pros

They sell a good product.

Cons

Independent contractors attrition rate is probably 90%. The sale is relatively complex, but they are more interested in attending sales appointments with very little forewarning, often 10 minutes. This doesn't give the contractor the time to create a customer centric proposal. Additionally, the company is built around using up setters and closers by paying them nothing unless the company is guaranteed to make money. No benefits, attrition rate of 90%, I would not buy from a company who treat their contractors with such contempt
