Knowledgeable, educated and caring staff, several with firm for over 20 years, flexible schedules, autonomy and mentoring if desired, great benefits including 401(k) matching, bonus structure, good people to work with. Many employees return saying it was the best place they have ever worked.

There really are no cons.

Good environment for learning the ropes of construction defect, pretty good hours compared to the industry as a whole

Pay isn't great and very few advancement opportunities at a small firm. Computer systems are very out of date and slow and can negatively impact productivity.
