Thanks for your review and we are obviously sorry that your working experience with us wasn’t rewarding. We really strive to create a great work environment and will take your feedback to heart and work hard to try and improve our processes and overall quality.
That said, I want to offer some perspective on some of the points you presented just to clarify some things you brought up:
1. Employment Status - We actually hire people both full-time and on contract, depending on the role and requirement. We are a U.S.-based company that has been growing a talented team in India and we are just about to complete our Indian certification for corporation. As one of our Noida team members, you are technically correct at the moment, but this will be shifting at the beginning of 2018 for most of the team members. A number of U.S. team members are full-time employees already.
2. Management Quality - While your experience clearly was not great, I do want to mention that the majority of team members that come on board stay with us for a long time. In fact, we have had very little churn amongst our group and I believe that is because we try and create an environment that allows our developers to actually engineer solutions. We work with all of our teams - including the team in Noida - in a more contemporary structure that allows people to use their skills. This means less hovering management and more of a performance-driven approach. We work to hire people that really know their craft and we can allow them to shine. That said, we can always improve here and this has been a big area that we are working on. Thank you again for your critique - we will strive to keep getting better!
3. Career Growth - Almost everyone that has moved into a manager’s position has been promoted from within. We depend on the growth of our team and have been working to train people extensively in their next-step roles. We are working on an education initiative to try and strengthen the internal training opportunities within the company and look forward to helping all of our team members grow stronger. Growth is a vital factor in the organization - we are sorry you didn’t feel this and we will work harder to make that an important part of our employee mission.
4. Development Environments - This is completely project dependent. For most of our projects this is not the case - it appears you worked on one where it was the case. We do sometimes have this requirement, but it depends on the client.
5. Quality of work - I am not sure how you are measuring this, but I think it’s worth mentioning that we have kept every major ongoing client for extended periods of time - for years in a number of cases (some have been with us since we opened our doors). We watch client retention, do regular code-reviews, and assess happiness through ongoing surveys. All of these lead management to believe that we actually deliver high quality work across the board. That said, we appreciate the feedback and will review your area to make sure this is taking place.
6. Dismissals - Unfortunately, this is not true - we don’t fire for any reason at any time. The few people we have discharged has only been due to failure to perform the duties they were hired for. We care deeply about our team members and want talented people that would like to be a part of a growing organization!
I hope this helps offer a bit of perspective. I personally take the time to connect with every single one of our employees worldwide and we will continue to improve our systems. Thank you again for the feedback.
Best Wishes,
