Pros

Low expectations, low accountability, no pressure, no deadlines, come in collect a paycheck, never get fired. Decent vacation/sick day accrual.

Cons

Their "non-profit" label is an excuse to not pay market value salaries, or anywhere close. I say "excuse" because the executives make a bundle, but the other ~1400 employees make sub-market. That attracts the unambitious - those that are otherwise unemployable, those that lack experience or skills, and those that want to come in to a low-stress environment, do the minimum required, and earn an easy paycheck. This leads to high churn, and an inability to attract and retain qualified talent, while retaining only the lazy squatters. The execs are there to look after themselves and protect their cushy jobs and high salaries, at the expense of the powerless middle management. Execs make rash autonomous decisions, then blame the underlings when (surprise!) they don't work out. There's no career development, no structure, no mentoring, no training, no forecasting or departmental goals...no future!

Pros

The place is a beautiful campus and the residence you will love them to death

Cons

The executors that runs Woods campus is only interested in money. They don’t care about your loved one they treated like a business the personal care the love and the respect is gone the only thing that this place cares about is money. Dawn diamond is the new CEO of Woods and the place as far as your loved one is concerned has went down a lot but yet they continue to raise money. The Care that you used to get at Woods is no longer there residence gets beat up and hit on all the time management half of the time does nothing about it!!! Tine is still in charge of the whole Woods system with Care but again it’s all about money. I have worked there for six years. You see all the titles that I have done working at this place there’s no type of leadership. Not to mention, Woods services is very very culturally biased look at some of the reviews and that will tell you right there. They have really went down in the personal care and the one on one that they used to have with their residence and their staff, they just do not care about anything but money and they really really need to do better because it’s a beautiful campus where a lot of people can get attention if it was run the right way, but when you have management and executive management only concerned about one thing, your loved one will not get the attention that they deserve
