Pros
Serving and interacting with airmen from not only the USAF but member nations of NATO. Very inspiring to see and experience peaceful dialogs from former enemy governments as well as long standing NATO forces.
Cons
Sometimes the labor aspect, especially in the clipper (commercial dish washer machine), was intense. Tiring. 4 hours non-stop with a 6 person team. Yet the respect shown along with other duties like prepping the buffet serving lines, desserts, sack lunches, learning other languages to greet internationals ("marhaba"" = hello in Arabic, " boker tov l" = good day in Hebrew/Aramaic e. g. As women & men entered the twin hall) and the pleasure of being included was extremely enlightening making the soreness and humid heat of the only "con" a minutia compared to the multicultural interactions.
