Pros

- unlimited vacations in Canada - good local leadership - flex working hours - good equipment - skilled developers both in Canada and offshore

Cons

- complicated lengthy interview - shared office space (Regus) not big enough. 4 developers in 2 persons office - senior offshore managers undermining Canadian dev team in every possible way - offshore product owners making decision re US market without understanding it - founder micromanaging every detail of company - complicated business setup with no back-office in Canada, candidates should be aware, make sure you have dismissal clause in your contract, and even this may not be enough as company does not have any assets/accounts in Canada - below average salary - inadequate health benefits - developers required to record every break they take using silly punch card like application widget , it feels like we are under constant surveillance - no transparency, company vision, goals are not shared with employees

Pros

Growing company, complete transparency from upper management & great leadership! I'm on the sales side of things & the technology is really impressive. Feels good coming into work every morning knowing what you're selling is really helping the small business market out there! Leadership at the company is very open to hearing advice from anybody at the company, no matter your title. Worklio does a great job of celebrating wins & making this a great place to work.

Cons

Start up environment is ever changing, it makes it exciting but also certain speed bumps you need to get over.

Pros

No pros at this company. Stay clear.

Cons

No direction, constant internal misalignment. Weak product with constant struggles and updates needed. No marketing support or efforts. No 401k with weak benefits. Micromanaged in all aspects of the business. Online time is tracked. Random meetings and calls throughout the day. No sense of direction or alignment. Awful culture, direction changes on a dime, no value in people, little to no real business strategy.
