Pros

Flexible remote policy. Comfortable but empty offices in London and Copenhagen.

Cons

A textbook lesson in mismanagement. Worksome is a slow-motion implosion of a company that can’t decide what its strategy is this week. We've witnessed the product flip-flop between various ideas, first as one thing, then as another. The leadership and VPs appear to chase their tails in constant pursuit of workable ideas, only to have each one rejected by a disinterested market. The result: a never-ending cycle of morale-crushing layoffs, sometimes on a large scale, sometimes with employees mysteriously vanishing overnight due to 'strategic changes’. In a company that does’t know its own strategy, good employees pay with their jobs when that strategy changes. Continuous layoffs led to a wave of knock-on resignations, with many of the brightest talents leaving for better opportunities as the company and morale sinks. In the previous twelve months it appears that half of the company has resigned or been fired.

Pros

The caliber of talent at Worksome is extremely high and the culture is amazing! I've learned so much during my time at Worksome and it's been a true privilege to work with all the great people. From a professional perspective, it's been really exciting to bring innovation to the contingent workforce industry, where Worksome is generally consider a #1 front runner.

Cons

News flash: It's a startup. And working at a startup will always be a rollercoaster-like experience - I enjoyed every second of the ride, but it's not for the faint of heart.

Cons

NOT open door policy. Same ol office politics as in a big corporate office
