Pros
Work can be substantively very interesting, although on the Advisory side or any support service, very process-heavy. On the investment side, very rigorous and a great learning opportunity. Very diverse in terms of nationality, although the perspective of most staff is actually quite similar, as most are educated at elite MBA programs.
Cons
STC contracts limited to 150 days per financial year are a ridiculous substitute for entry-level staff positions. No benefits, no security, and for all the international consultants, visa problems. It is discriminatory, in-efficient and counter productive.
