Pros

- a lovely, warm culture where you are supported and cared for (working arrangements are made around your needs - hybrid/flexible working) - great development opportunities to move between teams or upskill in current job (access to linkedin learning and other trainings) - diverse workforce where you will get to meet people from a lot of different backgrounds - opportunity to be a part of the largest NGO in Australia and make a difference in the lives of people in need from all around the world

Cons

- office location is inconvenient if you don't live out in the eastern suburbs - being an NGO, staff benefits are limited - processes are a bit all over the place and inefficient (without the investment in appropriate tools at times since budget is a big consideration) - staff don't seem to be performance managed out so it isn't always the highest caliber of talent - religion/Christianity is beginning to become a big part of its culture which isn't always comfortable for everyone - affiliation to the Hillsong church is found to be problematic for many
