      Pros

      Have found the work to generally be interesting so I'm getting the professional experience I was looking for in that regard.

      Cons

      This isn't a collaborative environment. You do have to play politics to get ahead. And there is so much disorganization, which causes decisions to be made incredibly slowly.

      Cons

      The workload can be intense with high expectations for delivery. The proprietary nature of the work means using many in-house tools rather than industry-standard open source. Can feel siloed depending on which specific project or team you are assigned to.
