Pros
You can get lucky with a really great team. The work can be very interesting at times and the dataset is interesting to work with.
Cons
No direction. No strategy. Redundancies at all levels. No information coming from senior leadership - leaving everyone guessing. No progression opportunities. Very limited training opportunities and those that exist are redundant if you're already a moderately strong performer. Expected to perform like a consultant but not paid like a consultant. Pay does not match the skill required. Little to no difference in expectations at different grades, meaning that you're doing the same job as someone getting paid more.
The move to a smaller office, the offshoring of junior and non-client facing roles, and the redundancies sweeping the SLT and analyst tiers do not inspire confidence. Used to think it was a great place to work. No longer think so.
