Pros
Great/low cost benefits, profit sharing, advancement opportunities, 100% college reimbursement.
Cons
Lower base pay because of profit sharing and profit sharing is variable per quarter. Mandatory overtime (weekend shifts) is posted on Wednesday the week of, making it difficult to make plans for the weekend. Advancement opportunities on production floor are easily obtained, but moving from production is difficult unless you know someone or brown nose. College reimbursement is nice, but scheduling classes is nearly impossible with switch shift work.
