Pros

- Remote work allows for some flexibility (but expect to have your working hours and boundaries violated)

Cons

This is the most unprofessional and dysfunctional working environment I've ever witnessed. Take anything positive you hear while interviewing with a grain of salt- It's all deception. I suggest reaching out to past employees before considering a role here, so you can understand the true picture. - Co-founders have hardly worked in any real corporate/professional organization. They have 0 people management or leadership skills, and express 0 desire to develop them. They openly say that "when they're not in the driver's seat, nothing goes right" - Yikes! - Extremely high turnover at the company. People are hired and fired regularly: Most roles have had multiple people in seat within a one year period. The leadership team fails to take any kind of accountability for this turnover. - When employees are terminated or resign, they will openly discuss the employee, gossip and bash them, often on all-hands Zoom calls in front of the rest of the team. - Claim to value culture, yet engage in hostile and aggressive communication, have zero respect for W/L balance (expect to be contacted at all hours of the day 24/7, even when you're on vacation or out on a medical leave). - Mistake their toxic, aggressive communication, micromanagement, degrading personal insults for "radical candor" which they claim is a value. - The founders display paranoia and distrust, evident by their obsession with having employees document every single task they're working on in detail. Constantly make claims that certain people are "only working 20 hours per week" and frequently claim that different employees' work "isn't that hard and shouldn't take that long" (Very degrading to team members who are hustling and giving it their all) - Unethical business practices and treatment of customers- Opting them into subscriptions without permission and failing to disclose schedules for recurring transactions: The C-Suite will deploy tactics that drive the bottom line even that means deceiving customers and operating in a legal/ethical danger zone. It's a legal minefield- watch out. - Owners have refused to pay vendors for work and will claim they "never signed a contract" when there are signed contracts on record. - Unprofessional and discriminatory language and behavior towards parents, women, POC: The "leadership team" consists of all men and functions like an old boy's club. The HR function is mostly just for show, so don't expect any real action to be taken if you ever have an issue. - The founders and C-Suite of this company have demonstrated openly that they have zero respect for their own employees, vendors/business partners, or their own customers. Potential employees, vendors, business partners, recruiters, potential acquirers: Heed this warning. Protect yourself, your career, your business and avoid engaging with this organization at all costs.

Pros

- Flexible work schedules - Ever-growing company; always a lot to do and very rarely the same day twice - Pay arrangement is fair - Young, hungry team. You won't find "This is how we've always done it" here

Cons

- There's a tendency to feel like you have to be "always on" since the team covers multiple time zones - team is heavily marketing focused, so it can be more challenging being in support functions on the operations side - this is very much a results driven company; this is not for someone just looking for casual work to pay the bills
