      Pros

      The technology is challenging and the customers are varied. There is quite a bit of flexibility in how you implement solutions. You're close to the customer and many serious decisions are yours to make with colleagues. Finally, Crossbow has a fairly good reputation among small navigation firms.

      Cons

      Management is a complete mess. Schedules are neither published, nor kept current, nor very accurate in the first place. Specifications are subject to whim. Imposed solutions (by fiat) muddy the water in many cases and result in long re-design cycles. There isn't any cost control and there isn't much in the way of road-map type technology development.

      Pros

      Casual work environment, small company, friendly management team. You are graded soley on your ability to get your work done which is fair. Company has a lot of potential with a technology advantage over the competition in several areas.

      Cons

      Poor management decision making from top to bottom. Immature and selfish middle-management. Lack of team work and desire to see the company succeed.
