Pros

Other team members where very helpful.

Cons

Got blamed for things that were not my fault No one reached out to ask me if I had any issues or concerns, even if I was just an intern. There is no order in that office and blame is always pushed on person who didn't really create the issue. The users where never what caused the stress level to be so high. It was the two team persons that caused drama every day I was there. Every day there was blame pushed off on other team persons when they weren't in the office. I got blamed for things that I simply was never shown correctly but did not feel comfortable telling upper management because of harsh remarks in meetings that were directed towards me. I saw this as a good opportunity and I stuck in despite all of the drama in that office that I am sure that management doesn't know because they are not there on a daily bases. There were rude comments made about users. The two ladies on the team were great when I had questions but I felt nervous to even come in everyday because of being blamed for so many things that I was only doing what I was taught and not trained in the right way.

Pros

The company is family-owned and has a solid business, and offers flexibility.

Cons

It's a family-owned company, so any and all profits do get prioritized to the family, so pay is low, benefits are okay at best, and there's no diversity. PTO is laughable, and you'll quickly see why there are no women at the company, and it's because the brothers run the business like a frat house with no maternity leave. They also do not have any diversity in upper management is all white men the closest person of color in any sort of leadership if you can call it that is a team lead in Texas.
