Pros
Well, they did pay me. That's about it.
Cons
The only communication you receive from upper management is threats, punishment, and insults. Many of the supervisors are simply incapable of treating hourly employees with respect. Everyone hates the upper management staff and morale is rock-bottom. Horrible physical conditions. The site I work at is 70 years old, walls made of asbestos, with ancient insulation containing asbestos. The walls are disintegrating and the insulation tiles are falling down day by day and the safety engineer tells everyone it is safe. Workers are underpaid, underappreciated, and overworked. The scope of the job is unreal. I feel like I am doing the jobs of three people. It's mind-boggling. I am constantly interrupted and moved from one unfinished task to a new one only to leave it unfinished as well because of the poor planning and totally unrealistic staffing levels. Overall a horrible experience, I myself and every single one of my fellow hourly co-workers are looking to get away from this despicable company. Toxic environment both physically and mentally.Community Gu
