Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, I can tell that you’re incredibly frustrated at the moment, and I’d like to apologise for that.
While I wouldn’t agree with your assertion that the executives are ‘bullies’ I do agree that we are trying to transform the business by changing gather way in which we operate. Now, the thing about change is it’s not something people tend to enjoy. So I completely understand that by making changes, we run the risk of upsetting people. It is not our intention to upset anyone but, as you touch upon, we are in a very tough market and if we continue to operate the way we always have we are unlikely to be able to compete under such challenging circumstances. Change is difficult to accept and even more difficult to lead, but I would like to see us do a better job of it. As for parking, I too would love an onsite parking space everyday - so I feel your pain with this.
Turning to your advice, I can assure you that I read every single review left on Glassdoor and I try my best to respond to each one where the author has made suggestions and comments. I also read every single comment on the confidential employee survey, and I read every suggestion posted through our anonymous YOM suggestion boxes. We are committed to listening and improving the experience of working for Xe. One of the challenges from Glassdoor is that there are few effective safeguards in place to ensure that one disgruntled employee cannot leave several reviews - in fact, someone who left months ago could still be leaving reviews without seeing some of the positive changes we have introduced. In contrast to that, one of the benefits of using Culture Amp for our employee surveys is they allow just one response per employee and they ensure full confidentiality - so only the employee knows how they’ve responded. If you like, you can check out Culture Amps commitment to confidentiality on their website - I’d ask you to just reflect on how successful an employee feedback platform would be if it were not confidential.
Finally, I’m afraid I have to strongly disagree with your view that all HiFX employees should be terminated. In fact, I’d go further and suggest that a direct attack on your fellow colleagues from behind a cloak of anonymity is disrespectful at best. It is certainly not the type of behaviour we want to see here at Xe, so though I can understand some of your frustrations, I would ask you to please be more considerate to your colleagues in the future. There are a lot of people who come to work and give all they can - whether they’ve been here for a few months or many years. We should all recognise the part each of us plays.
I sense that you are more comfortable remaining anonymous, which is your right to do so. However, if you genuinely wish to ask any other questions or make further suggestions, I want you to know that my door is always open and there will be no negative consequences of you speaking to me. You can contact me by emailing me directly or calling me on +44 (0)1753 75 17 78.
