Pros

The work the company does fills a market need and feels good to be a part of. A lot of fascinating things to learn about cutting-edge manufacturing techniques and AI. Employees genuinely interested in building community remotely - interesting things on Slack. Unlimited paid time off they call it Flex Time. Leadership is inspiring and makes you feel good about your job in company wide meetings.

Cons

Unlimited PTO means that when you are laid off you get no vacation days paid out. Parental leave benefits very outdated and sub-par compared with most tech companies. Being laid off no-notice with a tiny severance package and no other benefits paid out isn’t great.

Pros

Can only speak for the product side of things: Good amount of smart people with diverse backgrounds. There is a lot of space to make an impact on the product. Many parts of the product are not at their potential so there is potential for huge company wins. Starting to hit our stride in terms of how we think about opportunities, product ideas, and implementation. Pace is fast but manageable. Will keep your mind fresh.

Cons

Occasional alignment chaos but it is definitely getting better as we create better operating models. Ambiguities sometimes manifests in teams rowing in slightly different directions. Coworkers can be pretty direct to a fault. Org needs to work on team mentality and just generally being respectful of each other in every way.

Pros

- Flex PTO was nice - Decent work life balance - Remote work

Cons

- When I received my promotion I was told that I would get back pay for the start of the year, they cancelled that and only gave us stock options -HR messed up my W2 more than once, AND DIDN'T PAY me one time. They accidentally switched my role to hourly when I was a salaried employee. - My manager promised I promotion that came a year late with a 2% salary increase.. - There was no growth trajectory - My manager lied to me on multiple occasions
